Chelsea & Ivan

Chelsea and Ivan had an idyllic wedding at the La Costa Resort and Spa. I have to say it is one of the nicer places to have an outdoor wedding. Chelsea looked absolutely stunning in the dress she chose which complimented the entire wedding. And it could just be me, but I think Ivan could easily pass for a younger Daniel Craig if he grew his hair out just a bit. It’s always a pleasure filming with True Photography and this was no exception. Spencer from Mobile Music Plus kept the party movin and groovin. What a fabulous day. Congratulations Chelsea & Ivan!

After all the fun we had filming Matt & Sarah’s Love Story, we knew their wedding would be even more exciting given their enthusiastic personalities. Every detail of Matt and Sarah’s wedding was harmonious and well planned. The way the muted color of the guys’ suits, the bouquets and boutonnieres made from succulents and the subtle antique of Sarah’s dress blended in with The Estancia’s colors and decor continued to impress us while we filmed and editing their wedding video. Even the challenge of having 2 officiants from 2 separate faiths lead a ceremony was surprisingly fluid and a welcome change of pace.

We really enjoyed filming Michelle & Lei’s wedding video. Lei’s inexhaustable humor and energy were matched only by Michelle’s creativity and fun. She designed almost all of the wedding decor herself which looked amazing. Filming with Trailbrook Photography was a blast. They are a super creative and easy going husband and wife team who kept the photos going all day.

Matt & Sarah’s Love Story

Between their infectious enthusiasm and all the exotic plants at the San Diego Botanical Gardens our job was pretty easy. We finished off the shoot at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, where, despite their shoes getting drenched by the tide (sorry about that guys), we got some more great footage and b-roll. Can’t wait to film their wedding next July.

Ali & Luis had a beautiful wedding reception high above San Diego at the top of the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Despite my slight fear of heights, it’s breathtaking view of the city and it’s twinkling lights is almost unmatched. We also really enjoyed filming their energetic wedding party who frolicked around Sea Port Village for hours. What a a great destination wedding! We wish them the best of luck!
