We can’t say enough good things about this couple. You wouldn’t know it but Ben was stricken with a wicked abdominal flu bug for the whole wedding day. It was so bad we honestly weren’t sure he’d make it to the reception. They even had a chair setup at the alter. It was that bad. Maybe it was seeing Ashley come down the aisle or just the gravity of the day, either way he crushed it and made the wedding amazing despite the pain. Between the sunset footage with them and their overall energy we are so stoked about the how the wedding turned out. Of course we always love filming at Green Gables Wedding Estate and had a blast working with Shane & Lauren Photography for the first time. Congratulations Ashely & Ben!
All the right ingredients definitely came together to make this a great wedding! Somehow, after filming all these years around San Diego, this was our first wedding video at the Darlington House (and hopefully not our last). Love this picturesque venue imbued with old La Jolla charm from a grand bygone era. Stephanie & Joe were so great to work with and provided positive energy, love and enthusiasm throughout the entire day, which always makes for great images. Fabulous vendors also helps too, and we had a wonderful team on this one. Thanks to everyone for making this a great event! Congratulations you guys on a perfect wedding!

This has to be one of the most finely crafted and richly orchestrated weddings we’ve ever filmed. When people have a vision and a keen eye for planning, a truly unique wedding experience can arise. Filmed over the course of two days, with two ceremonies and receptions and several locations, just capturing all the unique details and moments of the wedding was a fun challenge in itself. Kenzie and Collin both have a pretty obvious lust for life and vitality that was palpable and infections throughout both days. We did our best just to keep up with them :-) Such a fun two days!
